The Muslims themselves are responsible for such stereotypes. If any film-maker or artist tries to show some thing new, such as a muslim girl running from home to marry some boy of her choice, the fanatical muslims create such a great nuisance that film-makers try to take a safe path and so do the artists. The community must first learn tolerance in order to shown in diverse ways. A few years ago, a story was published in a kannad magazine in Bangalore, in which the name of a protagonist was the same as that of prophet's, you know what happened there. The Government had to impose curfew to quell riots. Before blaming others, the Muslim artists and film-makers(there are many) should take the lead and show the way to others.
